Hunter Valley Training Company (HVTC) began looking at the option of opening an office in the Southern Tablelands Region in early 2005. New and exciting employment opportunities for young people in the Goulburn and surrounding regions became available with the establishment of Southern Tablelands Group Training (STGT). Goulburn’s strategic location between the major capital cities of Sydney and Canberra, its access to major transport infrastructure, strong presence of educational institutions, and growing industry base led to the decision to open an office in the city.
STGT focuses on employing local people for local needs, and for the benefit of a community that is seeking new initiatives and leadership to develop its potential. This commitment is being strongly supported by local Government, industry and the community.
STGT offers a full administration service and manages the employment of the apprentice/trainee. STGT focuses its resources on the performance management of the apprentice/trainee. STGT services Goulburn, Crookwell, Braidwood, Queanbeyan, Canberra, Yass, and the Southern Highlands.
We can cover all industry apprenticeships / traineeships in order to suit your business needs. There are currently over 100 apprenticeships and over 800 traineeships available in NSW.
